Job summary

KeyCorp in Willoughby, Ohio seeks a Private Client Banker to manage client relationships with a plan-based approach to financial advice and deliver tailored financial solutions for clients up to $2M in investable assets. You will assess client needs, document data, and refer to appropriate sales professionals across Retail, Private Bank, Mortgage or Business Banking.

You will open accounts, build partnerships with branch teammates, ensure compliance, and support branch operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals and building referral sources in insurance and investment products.
• Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting and networking.
• Interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly and influence partners such as Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking sales teams.
• Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms within Key.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deepen client relationships through proactive planning and referrals to appropriate specialists.
• Deliver customized financial wellness recommendations and coordinate with Retail, Private Bank, and Mortgage teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with policies, documentation, and branch operations while supporting daily activities.
