Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Encinitas, CA seeks compassionate Caregivers to provide hands-on care to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. You will support daily activities, foster social engagement, and help ensure comfort and safety.

Join a collaborative care team with opportunities for growth; walk-in interviews are available Wednesdays from 1pm–4pm. Excellent benefits are offered to full‑time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training preferred.
• Must be able to use company issued electronic devices for tasks.
• Professional, pleasant, and team‑oriented attitude.
• Attendance reliability essential for operations.
• Post‑offer screenings may be required (background check, drug screen, TB).

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living for residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing safety.
• Document and report daily care and changes to supervisors promptly.
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed.
• Prioritize hospitality and resident satisfaction in all interactions.

About The Role

As a Caregiver at Belmont Village, you will provide hands‑on care and support to seniors living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Your Typical Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Promote socialization and inspire participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well‑being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and promptly report any observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands‑on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Must be able to effectively use company issued electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops for job‑related tasks

• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
