Job summary

Balr Basketball is expanding its team of professional trainers to deliver private and small group lessons across local parks, courts, or client homes. Trainers set their own schedules, travel to clients, ensure safety, and provide tailored lesson plans while getting paid promptly.

We seek experienced coaches with at least 2 years of instruction, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Training equipment must be provided by you.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of basketball instruction or coaching to players of any age.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Energetic, engaging personality, especially with children.
• Confidence in working independently.
• Provide your own basketball training equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct private (1-on-1) and small group basketball lessons.
• Schedule lessons flexibly.
• Travel safely to clients' locations.
• Create custom lesson plans for each student.
• Assess and track student progress, adjusting lessons accordingly.
• Deliver a fun, comprehensive, and tracked learning experience.
• Maintain safety of students at all times.
• Communicate progress with parents, clients, or caregivers.
