Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking an Associate Banker SAFE Act to support Private Banker activities and client management. You will assist in sales, prospecting and profiling while coordinating client events and maintaining records to ensure accurate, timely documentation.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience, knowledge of investments, and FINRA Series 7/66 licenses to be earned within 150 days. A Bachelor's degree is required, and the position is based in New York City with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience
• Knowledge of investments is required; banking and credit products desirable
• Ability to manage relationships both internal and external; Ability to multi-task
• FINRA Securities Licenses: Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required to obtain within 150 days of assuming the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Banker in creating sales and marketing strategies to generate revenue growth and acquire new target clients, focusing on Investments
• Assist prospecting: research, generate leads, develop prospects, network for referrals, coordinate client events
• Assist profiling, qualifying and converting prospects into Citi Private Bank clients
• Organize pre-call planning and post-meeting notes; maintain client call records
• Support deepening client relationships through deep-dive analysis
• Provide revenue tracking and deal pipeline reports to the Banker
• Support documentation such as account openings and disbursements
• Provide complete client service and resolve complex inquiries
• Ensure KYC/ AML documentation is complete and up to date
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies
