Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Private Banker to deliver an affluent client experience by coordinating across investments, mortgage, trust, lending and other Northwest products. You will identify prospects, develop relationships, and present comprehensive financial planning solutions to high-net-worth clients.

You will maintain a strong community presence, meet annual production goals, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with internal experts and stakeholders across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in private banking or wealth management.
  • Licenses: Series 7, Series 63, Series 65 or Series 66 upon hire where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate contacts for developing and closing new business.
  • Collaborate across business lines including investments, mortgage, trust, lending, and other Northwest products and services.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with sources of new business such as company officials, attorneys, and accountants.
  • Explain planning advantages and gather background information on clients' finances and status.
  • Develop a high community profile and utilize office network for referrals and prospects.
  • Meet or exceed annual production guidelines and complete financial profiles for proposals.
  • Recommend products and services considering alternatives and client needs.
  • Conduct presentations and meetings with prospects to advance sales.
  • Cross-sell Northwest products and services and provide training when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with FINRA/SEC regulations and monitor client accounts.
