Job summary

MidFirst Business Credit, Inc. in Utah is seeking a loan processing/servicing support specialist to assist the lending group with loan documentation, funding, and related administrative tasks.

You will interact with Private Bank customers and bank officers, prepare loan documents, monitor covenant compliance, and help gather financial information while supporting cross-department workflows.

Qualifications

• Three years of loan processing or loan servicing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college in business preferred; bachelor’s degree desired.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and PC skills; knowledge of commercial loan documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loan closings, preparation of loan documents, and funding.
• Order title reports, UCC filings, and background checks; gather borrower information.
• Prepare monthly activity monitoring reports and maintain credit/documentation files.
• Interact with customers and bank officers to collect required documents.
• Assist with deposit activities (wire transfers, account transfers) and general administrative tasks.

Job description

Provides support to the lending group by assisting with loan documentation, loan servicing, client management, and interaction with other departments in the bank to meet internal/external customer needs. Duties include, but are not limited to; Assist Private Bank customers with lending related activities, such as but not limited to: loan closings, preparation of loan documents, loan funding's, ordering title reports, UCC filings, and various inquires. Assist Private Bank customers with deposit related activities, such as but not limited to: wire transfers, account transfers, and various inquires. Assist Private Bankers with administrative responsibilities, such as but not limited to: phones, filing, general correspondence, covenant monitoring, borrowing base reviews, preparation of loan documents, maintaining credit/documentation files and gathering financial information. Loan application input, ordering appraisals, opening title and escrow, requesting background checks and credit reports. Prepare various monthly activity monitoring reports. Interaction with customers and bank officers to collect various documents and financial information as reflected as exceptions. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

Three years of loan processing or loan servicing experience in a similar financial environment; High school diploma or equivalent required with some college business course preferred; Bachelor Degree desired; Excellent customer service skills; general knowledge of bank processes; excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent PC skills; working knowledge of commercial loan documentation is required.
