Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Interior Technician to perform mechanical work on aircraft interiors, including installation and modification of components, carpeting, insulation, and fabric accessories.

Duties vary by team leader direction and project scope, in a fast-paced MRO environment at the Chattanooga, TN facility. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working in hangar/shop conditions, and ensuring safety and FAA-aligned practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have valid driver’s license (airline travel) or passport is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical items on aircraft interiors.
• Install/modify/ refurbish interior components, carpets, insulation, and fabric accessories.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; perform weight and balance data entries.
