Job summary

Legal.io in the United States is seeking a privacy operations contractor to review and redline MSAs, ensuring DPAs are incorporated, and to own privacy workflows.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong OneTrust familiarity, and the ability to coordinate with Legal, Procurement, Compliance and business teams to move contracts to completion.

Duration: 2 Months

Pay Rate: $60 - 70 / hr ($120,000 - $140,000) annualized

Responsibilities

• Review and redline vendor contracts, primarily Master Service Agreements (MSAs), to ensure Data Privacy Addenda (DPAs) are incorporated.
• Own privacy compliance workflows
• Track and manage progress on a high-volume backlog of contracts requiring updates.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders including Legal, Procurement, Compliance, and Business Teams to ensure alignment on contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of contract status and updates.
• Support the development and refinement of privacy operations processes as needed.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the privacy and legal teams to ensure timely completion of the project.

Required Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with privacy management tools such as OneTrust.
• Strong experience redlining and following playbooks
• Prior professional experience in privacy operations, compliance, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization or reporting tools like Power BI.
• Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) or similar systems.
• Knowledge of ZIP or other contract workflow tools.
