Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Policy Analyst Privacy Resource Center Support to join our NIH privacy program in Bethesda, MD. This full-time, on-site role focuses on implementing and sustaining privacy compliance processes, researching data, preparing reports, and developing recommended actions for senior management.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s in government affairs or related field, at least two years of privacy policy experience, and the ability to obtain a Federal public trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in government affairs, public policy, or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of privacy policy related experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated experience with policy analysis and evaluation.
• Experience analyzing and/or writing policy briefs adhering to compliance standards.
• Ability to conduct research, collect data, and combine findings.
• Knowledge of federal privacy laws and policies.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD 'public trust'; candidates must receive approved adjudication prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain a comprehensive privacy compliance program within NIH.
• Research, analyze, and evaluate data for policy information.
• Prepare status reports, management summaries and briefing papers with issues and recommendations.
• Analyze findings and recommend efficient, effective, and economical policy solutions.
• Conduct fact-finding to support policy development and implementation.
• Coordinate with staff to fulfill reporting requirements and prepare written reports.
• Translate findings into graphs, slides, and briefing materials.
• Support privacy lifecycle activities including documentation reviews, risk assessments, and breach coordination.
