Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active DC Bar admission in good standing or eligible to waive into DC Bar.
• 1-3 years of substantive privacy, cybersecurity, or data protection experience.
• Experience advising clients on privacy compliance and data protection.
• Familiarity with U.S. privacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on privacy compliance, data governance, and data protection requirements across industries.
• Assist with regulatory compliance involving U.S. and international privacy frameworks.
• Conduct privacy and cybersecurity due diligence for transactions.
• Draft, review, update privacy policies, data processing agreements, and related docs.
• Support cybersecurity preparedness, incident response, investigations, and risk management.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance on privacy and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters.
