Our Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Strategy practice helps clients create risk-mitigated, global, scalable, and flexible privacy and cyber programs and data strategies for innovative data products, services, and us es. We assist a wide range of industries in the challenging task of protecting data in line with ever-growing and overlapping legal regimes. As traditional healthcare, life sciences, financial services, consumer products, and other companies become data com panies, we have the insight and experience to help benchmark and prioritize resources, negotiate transactions, and evaluate potential business targets. When an attack happens, we quickly mobilize our investigation and litigation teams, which have successfully defended clients against data breach and privacy plaintif fs as well as major data protection authorities, to contain the incident and minimize losses.
We are seeking a mid-level or senior associate to join our Privacy, Cybersecurity & Data Strategy Practice Group in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office.
Excellent legal analysis, writing skills, academic credentials, and references.
Must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the state of California.
Experience in privacy litigation and consumer protection class action matters is preferred, but not required.
Experience performing at trial, arguing matters before courts or arbitrators, and taking and defending depositions is preferred.
Salary Range: $260,000 to $435,000 in California (commensurate with experience)
Bonus: Eligibility for an hours-based bonus
