Foley & Lardner LLP seeks an associate with 4-6 years of privacy and cybersecurity experience in a law firm to join the Technology Transactions, Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice Group in our Chicago, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, or San Diego office. Alternate Foley office locations may be considered based on business need and the candidate's experience.

Qualifications

• Requires JD from ABA-accredited law school and active Bar admission in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted.
• Experience advising on privacy and cybersecurity compliance and incident response.
• Familiarity with U.S. state, federal, and international privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA, TCPA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on privacy compliance and cybersecurity matters.
• Lead or support data breach investigations and incident response efforts.
• Conduct data mapping exercises and privacy impact assessments.
