Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an experienced Privacy & Compliance Analyst to conduct investigations, audits, and related activities, developing targeted education on identified risks. You will collaborate with the IACERM leadership to prepare internal reports and respond to inquiries.

The role focuses on HIPAA/privacy compliance, risk assessment, data loss prevention, and escalation of high-risk matters, with opportunities to influence corrective actions and staff training.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of healthcare industry experience, including investigations and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely investigations of routine to moderately complex Compliance and HIPAA concerns.
• Support complex investigations with research, evidence gathering, and interviews.
• Maintain confidential documentation for investigations and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during investigation, remediation, and notification processes.
• Assist with corrective actions resulting from investigations and audits.
• Deliver targeted training on HIPAA, privacy, and compliance topics.
