Kforce's client seeks a Manager, Data Protection and Compliance in Fort Lauderdale, FL to lead privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance initiatives across the enterprise. The role partners with Information Security, IT, Legal, Risk, and business stakeholders while serving as a subject-matter expert in privacy compliance and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IS, Cybersecurity, Business, Legal Studies or related field.
• 5+ years in privacy, compliance, risk management, audit, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and global privacy frameworks.
• Experience with privacy impact assessments, security reviews, risk assessments, and audits.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders to implement privacy programs.
• Analyze data flows and information usage to support program effectiveness and compliance.
• Provide guidance on PII collection, use, minimization, retention, sharing, and disposal.
• Develop and deliver privacy awareness and training initiatives.
• Conduct privacy and security assessments (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, vendor risk, data mapping).
• Monitor changes to global privacy laws and communicate impacts across the organization.
• Serve as trusted advisor for privacy and data protection matters.
• Support privacy incident response activities and remediation.
• Identify privacy risks and partner with stakeholders to mitigate them.
• Review new systems and processes to ensure privacy requirements.
• Partner with technical teams to apply privacy-by-design principles.
• Support auditing, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement.
