Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Privacy Associate with 4–8 years of experience to join our privacy and product counseling practice across multiple offices.

You will advise on US federal and state privacy laws, develop internal data protection programs, conduct privacy assessments, draft policies, and negotiate data processing agreements, with exposure to AI, ad-tech, health data, biometric data, and youth data.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in privacy and product counseling.
• Experience advising on US federal and state privacy laws is required.
• Strong academic credentials are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal data protection programs.
• Conduct privacy assessments and build data maps.
• Perform data protection impact assessments.
• Draft privacy policies and negotiate data processing agreements.
• Advise on high‑risk privacy issues (AI, ad‑tech, health data, biometric data, kids data).
