Head, Heart, and Hands Homeschool Enrichment Program
San Juan Capistrano, CA
Head, Heart, and Hands is a thriving homeschool enrichment program and Waldorf-inspired outdoor learning community set on a beautiful private property in San Juan Capistrano, with a creek flowing through it.
We serve children in kindergarten through 8th grade, offering Main Lesson classes that follow traditional Waldorf blocks of study and integrate mathematics, language arts, social studies, science, music, art, movement, and handwork. Our program weaves together Waldorf education, nature immersion, project-based learning, and self-directed exploration in a warm, supportive environment guided by loving, experienced, and passionate teachers. Children attend classes Tuesday through Friday.
We are seeking experienced and inspired Main Class Teachers who bring warmth, creativity, expertise, classroom management, and who would like to teach in an outdoor learning environment. Each outdoor classroom has a 12’ x 20’ gazebo, large chalkboards, and wooden desks. The Main Class Teacher designs and leads integrated Main Lesson blocks, cultivates a steady classroom rhythm, and supports children’s academic, emotional, and social development through developmentally appropriate, hands-on, and imaginative learning.
Our teachers are thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply committed to their craft. Faculty meet weekly and work together in a culture of reflection, shared responsibility, and professional growth. We value innovation, openness, and a willingness to learn from one another while holding a strong reverence for childhood and developmental wisdom.
