Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Priority Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Urgent Care team serving 13 locations across Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA.

The PRN role requires weekend and weekday daytime availability, 12-hour shifts, and open 7 days a week 8a-8p. Candidates must hold a Master’s in NP/PA, be eligible for Nebraska/Iowa licensure, and have Epic EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• Certification by a nationally recognized certification organization.
• Minimum of one year of Provider experience.
• Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted Nebraska and Iowa license.
• Nebraska and Iowa DEA in good standing with no restrictions.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Join Urgent Care team across Omaha and Council Bluffs and pick up shifts as needed.
• Provide prompt, high-quality medical attention for non-life-threatening conditions.
• Work in a high-volume, interdisciplinary care team environment.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Priority Care Advance Practice Provider (NP or PA) you will join our dynamic Urgent Care team with CHI Health Clinic serving 13 locations across the Omaha, Nebraska and Council Bluffs, IA communities.

In this role you will work to pick up shifts as needed, including a weekday daytime and weekend availability. You will provide prompt, high-quality medical attention to patients whose primary care provider is not available. Patient Care for life's non-threatening ailments and injuries that do not require a hospital visit. Performing procedures commensurate with education, training and experience. APP's are a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary care team with advanced communication skills.

A successful Advanced Practice Provider demonstrates exceptional clinical acumen, efficiently diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute conditions with confidence and accuracy. They seamlessly manage a high-volume patient flow, effectively communicating with patient and collaborating as an integral part of the healthcare team to provide timely, high-quality care.

PRN Position

• Ideal candidate will have weekend & weekday daytime ability with a flexible schedule to pick up last minute shifts
• Minimum of 2 Shifts per month Required
• 12 Hour Shifts - 7 Days a week
• Open 7 days a week, 8a-8p
• Care for patients 3 months and older
• EMR - Epic

We are offering an hourly salary that with the addition of shift differentials.
