Job summary

YKHC Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation, located in Bethel, AK, seeks an administrative professional to support fast-paced operations within a Tribal health organization.

You will handle Medicaid/Medicare-related tasks, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple computer programs with strong attention to detail. The role requires a high school diploma, ability to type 45 words per minute and 10-key by touch, plus comprehension of health programs.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

• One (1) year of full-time experience working with Medicaid Services preferred
• Two (2) years of management experience preferred
• Ability to type 45 words per minute
• 10-key by touch
• Demonstrated knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and other government-funded health programs

Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations

• Successful completion of the State of Alaska HIPAA course
• Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License
• First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within twelve (12) months of hire
• Medical Terminology certification within nine (9) months of hire
• Excel certification within nine (9) months of hire
