Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with medication prior authorizations or healthcare insurance preferred.
• Strong communication with pharmacies, insurers, and patients.
• Proficient with electronic health records and authorization portals.

Responsibilities

• Review and process medication prior authorizations daily.
• Submit, track, and resolve authorization requests.
• Educate patients on limits and processes for prior authorizations.
• Coordinate with providers and pharmacies to obtain necessary documentation.
• Maintain accurate records for all active and completed authorizations.
• Provide language assistance when applicable.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
