Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician with CPhT certification is required.
• 1 year of experience in retail, specialty, hospital or infusion pharmacy.
• Experience in prior authorization/patient assistance is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Handle prior authorization requests from healthcare providers.
• Assist in approval process with insurance companies to secure medications for patients.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, insurers, and patients to expedite approvals.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
