Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a dedicated Prior Authorization Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of insurance prior authorizations for medications, imaging, and procedures related to complex gynecologic conditions. The role serves as a liaison between payers, providers and clinical staff to ensure timely approvals and minimize delays.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical office or equivalent with medical terminology, coding, charge entry, and payment collection.
• Prior authorization experience is required.
• CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and billing information.
• Register patients for services and ensure accurate data entry.
• Coordinate with clinical and ancillary teams for smooth operations.
• Assist with post-care financial needs and collect co-pays as applicable.
• Support guest services operations and maintain a safe work environment.
