Job summary

MCC Label is seeking a ROR Press Operator to manufacture printed labels, monitor quality, and maintain press conditions on site in Knoxville, TN. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and adherence to customer specifications while supporting production goals.

Responsibilities include make-ready, quality checks, reporting, and training new operators, with a commitment to a clean, safe work environment and active participation in meetings and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Reports safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment with daily housekeeping.
• Perform signoffs on production jobs/Rewind.
• Input end of shift reports and other production reports in Radius.
• Complete press make-ready with correct cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers.
• Complete press-related quality checks and ensure product specifications.
• Operate press to meet customer specifications while managing quality and waste.
• Train new turret operators on production procedures.
