Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company is seeking a Printing Press Operator at our USA CT - Canaan site. The role focuses on setting up and operating printing mats and related equipment to ensure high-quality web materials are produced efficiently.

Responsibilities include material inspection, equipment maintenance, inventory control, and adherence to GMP and safety requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed forklift operator required.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.
• Ability to follow job-related instructions and operate machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Check quality and correctness of printing mats, set up printing equipment and align/affix mats.
• Inspect raw materials for correct web stock and ink.
• Operate printing press to produce high-quality products.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on printing and slitting equipment per manuals and QC requirements.
• Maintain inventory of inks, mats, and paper stock used for printing web materials.
• Schedule web material processing to minimize downtime and coordinate materials transfers.
• Maintain GMP-compliant clean work area and report safety hazards.
