Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Printing Press Operator for our Flemington, NJ facility. The role focuses on safely setting up and operating multiple printing presses, ensuring product quality, and maintaining accurate production records. This is a 1st shift, on-site position with overtime as needed.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of machine operator experience. Knowledge of press operations and basic computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3 years of machine operator experience or 5 years of machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to work required overtime as needed.
• Clear communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Safely setting up, operating, and monitoring printing presses (Offset, Wolverine, Windmill, Mark Andy).
• Complete press changeovers, plate preparation, and quality checks for production runs.
• Document production and quality data, monitor ink usage, and perform in-process inspections.

We partner with experts across the industry, guided by empathy and insight, to advance health for everyone.**The impact you’ll make in this role**As a Printing Press Operator, you’ll be responsible for supporting production operations, ensuring quality standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient plant environment.**This role works the 1st shift and includes starting pay of $30.88/hour:**Responsibilities include but not limited to:* Safely setting up, operating, and monitoring printing presses (Offset, Wolverine, Windmill, Mark Andy) while following all SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.* Verifying materials, completing press setups and changeovers, performing line clearances, and preparing plates, lot codes, and date codes for production runs.* Monitoring print quality and process performance, making adjustments as needed to ensure specifications are met and product quality is maintained.* Performing in-process inspections, documenting production and quality data accurately, and maintaining required records, including solvent and ink usage.* Troubleshooting equipment, process, and material issues; escalating concerns and reporting malfunctions, discrepancies, or unusual conditions to leadership as needed.* Supporting operational excellence through training, cross-training, continuous improvement activities.* Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.**Required Qualifications:*** High School Diploma/GED AND 3 years of experience in a machine operator role **OR** 5 years of experience in a machine operator role* Ability to work required overtime as needed**“Nice to Have” Qualifications:*** Post-high school education* Basic computer knowledge**Work Location:** Onsite - 500 US Highway 202, Flemington, NJ 08822**Travel:** Not required for this position**Relocation Assistance:** Not authorized**Legal & Compliance**Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.**Manufacturing Operations:**This position sits within Solventum’s Manufacturing Operations, specifically at one of our global production facilities, where our teams play a hands-on role in bringing life-changing healthcare solutions to life.
