Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Printing Press Assistant in Appleton, Wisconsin to support a busy printing department. You will follow quality requirements, prepare for orders, and package finished rolls.

The role includes handling inks, monitoring viscosities, and using forklifts to move product in a climate-controlled plant. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical and math skills, and a team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience with printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.
