Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Printing Press Assistant to support the Printing Department in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Wisconsin. You will prepare for upcoming orders, ensure quality, monitor viscosities, and assist with ink dispersion, while occasionally filling in for the Press Operator.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and mechanical skills, and a team-oriented attitude. The shift involves a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with a strong emphasis on safety and precision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with printing equipment a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepares for upcoming orders.
• Packages/wraps finished rolls.
• Monitors viscosities and completes PH forms.
• Finds ink on specification sheet and disperses.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to fill-in for the Press Operator job when necessary.
