Job summary

Polytainers Inc. in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Material Handler in the Printing Department. You will move molded product from the warehouse to the printing machines, load finished product onto the wrapping line, and ensure accurate scanning in the LX system.

The role requires experience with electric walkie pallet trucks, fluent English, and high school or equivalent. You will perform 5S housekeeping, participate in continuous improvement, and escalate maintenance when needed.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Experience handling the electric walkie pallet truck.
• Must have valid proof of training on electric walkie pallet truck.
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication.
• Works in air-conditioned area; must wear protective equipment when required.
• 5S housekeeping duties and quality checks on pallets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Walkie and perform daily checks with logs.
• Move molded product from warehouse staging to the correct machine; ensure LX system scans.
• Unload molded product and load printed product onto skids along the designated route.
• Move finished product from printing to warehouse wrapper area and ensure LX scans.
• Move Rag barrels to the staging area for transportation.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and training.
• Housekeeping and 5S duties; perform quality checks on outgoing pallets.
• Respond to Andon Lights and perform line clearance.
• Escalate any maintenance issues with equipment.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the printing supervisor/manager.
