Job summary

Ardagh Metal Packaging, a leading supplier of metal beverage cans, is hiring a Printer Operator in Olive Branch, MS. You will set up, adjust, and maintain the decorator and related equipment to ensure quality production.

Responsibilities include changeovers, testing product quality, repairing or replacing parts, performing maintenance, and monitoring materials and supplies. This position requires basic mechanical skills, PPE familiarity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Familiar with Personal Protective Equipment.
• Mechanically inclined; familiar with hand tools.
• Familiar with proper handling of chemicals/solvents.
• Previous printing experience preferred; basic dry-offset printing skills knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot litho/printing press issues.
• Detail oriented.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and maintain the decorator and related equipment.
• Make changeovers or conversions by setting up equipment for material/size/product changes.
• Check, test and measure product for quality specifications.
• Examine visual defects and replace worn parts; retime machine action.
• Operate, repair, clean and lubricate equipment; clear jams and check materials.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document findings.
• Notify supervisor of recurring malfunctions and material issues.
• Operate equipment and assist as directed.
