Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking a Printer for the 1st shift (7A - 3P) in Montoursville, PA, to operate the Soma board printing press and meet established quality standards.

You will prepare the press, mount stock, mix inks, adjust pressures, and ensure proper web alignment, making on-the-fly adjustments as needed.

No printing experience is required—training will be provided, and prior machine operation and manufacturing experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand basic written and oral instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
• Ability to determine colors.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the press for scheduled runs.
• Mount raw plate, napkin or label stock to the press.
• Determine formulation of inks and transfer to printing stations.
• Make correct pressure adjustments for printing cylinders to attain required print.
• Ensure correct alignment of web.
• Accomplish necessary adjustments during the run.
• Remove finished roll from rewind stand at completion of run.
