Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot common machine/quality problems and adjust as needed.

• Direct materials flow to printing presses and prepare rolls for use.
• Operate automation systems for infeed/outfeed and unwind/re-fill.

We seek individuals with experience in a production environment with direct or supporting experience in setting up,adjustingand/ormaintaininghigh speed printing equipment and machinery. Responsibilities & Duties

• Troubleshoot common machine/quality problems and make necessary mechanic adjustments to the correct problems.
• Monitor the press constantly during operation and make necessaryadjustmentstomaintainquality.
• Ensure that the press and other assigned equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
• Operate Infeed and Outfeed fool automation system.
• Review work order/schedule and set up machine and direct the flow of raw materials to the printing presses.
• Strip and prepare paper rolls for delivery to their respective printing presses.
• Operate and troubleshoot the automated roll movement and unwind/rewind systems.
• Perform any preventative maintenance activities as scheduled orrequired.
• Immediately notifyappropriate personnelof any issues with automation equipment or finished goods.
• Assist in tracking the inventory levels of printing supplies.
• Adhere to all safety rules,guidelines,and procedures.
• Complete all other duties the Supervisordeemsnecessary.

MinimumRequirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

AJM was originally founded as a distributor of commercial paper, plastic and foil packaging products and related cleaning, janitorial and order processing supplies and equipment by three (3) Detroit area brothers operating out of a small warehouse in Detroit’s Eastern Market.
