Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles in Augusta, GA, is seeking a Quality Print Technician to support print room operations, handling vinyl and paper printing, and ensuring high-quality outputs. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Tech Pubs to approve artwork and meet customer expectations.

You will develop SOPs, schedule operations, and work with printers, laminators, and vendors to meet deadlines and stay within budget. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required in related field; technical certifications preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience required.
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support print room operations including vinyl and paper printed solutions executing jobs with high quality.
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Tech Pubs for artwork rendering and approval to meet customer expectations.
• Develop standard operating procedures and work to continuously improve printing processes for efficiency.
• Develop and maintain a schedule of operations to communicate status and timelines for the rest of the business.
• Excellence in communication when collaborating with Sales to meet the needs and expectations of customer orders.
• Loading and unloading printers, laminators, cutters, and performing vinyl weeding, transfer tape, and trimming using safe handling processes.
• Utilize printer software to optimize layout, contours, and process for quality and efficiency.
• Work with external vendors to ensure printed and electronic material is prepared and produced on deadline and within budget.
