Job summary

The University of North Georgia is seeking a Collection Management Librarian for Print Resources on the Dahlonega campus. This 12-month, full-time tenure-track role involves planning and managing print resources and coordinating with colleagues to support curriculum and research across campuses.

Responsibilities include collection analysis, policy development, and coordination with the Electronic Resources Strategist.

Qualifications

• Must have MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of print resources and current library practices.
• Experience with library content management systems (e.g. Springshare) is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage print and individual e-book resources to support teaching, learning and research.
• Collaborate with other librarians to align resources with academic programs and develop policies.
• Develop and maintain print collections, circulation, and e-book equivalents.
• Conduct collection analysis and weed projects and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
• Provide training on collection management tools and workflows and document procedures.
