Job summary

Print Bind Ship is seeking a skilled Print Production Manager to oversee the production floor, including press operators, finishing operators, bindery and assistants, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

You will coordinate with workflow and operations to meet customer commitments, monitor KPI data, drive improvements, and coach staff across departments for cross-training and flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in print manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years college or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations, including production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining safe machine operations.
• Communicate with managers regarding production priorities and maintenance.
• Monitor production KPI data, participate in improvement meetings, and recommend operations improvements.
• Lead and coach production employees and promote cross-training for flexibility.

Print Bind Ship is a full service 3PL provider specializing in eCommerce fulfillment, book printing, commercial printing, and more. We have over 60 years in the print and fulfillment business.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print Production Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for directly managing the production floor, which includes press operators, small machine operators, finishing operators, bindery, and production assistants.

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations, including but not limited to, daily production schedules received from the Workflow Manager, ensuring production dealines are met, maintaining safe and efficient machine operations, scheduling and overseeing preventative maintenance with accurate documentation.
• Communication with CSR Manager, Operations Manager, Workflow Manager, etc. regarding production priorities and planned maintenance, operational issues, and/or customer commitments.
• Production performance by monitoring production throughout the facility, collecting and reporting machine KPI data, participate in weekly improvement meetings, and recommend operations improvements based on production trends.
• Lead and coach production employees by fostering continuous learning across departments and promote cross-training to improve operational flexibility.

Pay range and compensation

Annual base rate of $62,560 (hourly rate of $30.08) plus eligiblity in the company's Performance Incentive Bonus Program Quarterly and Annual Bonus Opportunities.
