Job summary

AlphaGraphics Madison is hiring a Print Production & Bindery Assistant to join our growing team. No printing experience is required—we will train the right person and help you develop new skills while working in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with finishing, packaging, local deliveries and a variety of production tasks, with opportunities to advance as you learn. Strong work ethic and reliability are highly valued.

Qualifications

• No printing experience required; training provided.
• Attitude, dependability and willingness to learn are important.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bindery and print finishing operations.
• Cutting, folding, scoring and book binding.
• Packaging and preparing completed jobs for customers.
• Assist with mailing projects and fulfillment.
• Create, package and process UPS shipments.
• Make local customer deliveries using a company vehicle.
• Load and unload printed materials and finished products.
• Perform quality checks to ensure jobs are completed accurately.
• Help organize inventory, materials and production areas.
• Assist with recycling, waste removal and maintaining a clean, safe production environment.
• Help production team meet customer deadlines.
• Cross-train in digital printing and large format graphics and signage.

Physical & Driving Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable standing, bending and moving throughout the workday
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be comfortable driving a company vehicle for local deliveries
• Must be able to safely load, unload and transport printed materials and packages
