Job summary

Taylor Corporation is seeking a 2nd Shift Press / Print Operating Technician for our North Mankato, MN facility. You will set up and operate high-speed print machinery, monitor quality, and ensure production runs meet exact specifications.

You must have mechanical and technical aptitude, basic math skills, and the ability to read job orders and logs. This on-site role requires attention to detail and safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced environment.

Check preciseness of detail against specifications. Take action to correct any problemsMonitor equipment during job runs. Remain alert to mechanical problems and refer as necessary to maintenanceInitiate the start up and running of jobs in keeping with production schedulePerform routine equipment maintenance and upkeepMeet standards for output, waste, and spoilageAdhere to all safety guidelines. Keep workspace clean and organized for efficiency in shift changeoversComplete with accuracy related logs and paperworkGeneral Examples: Manufacturing Tech II, Photocopy digital high speed multi-color with finishing, Printer 4+ multi-color with finishingYour Shift:2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30amExtended, weekend and/or additional hours may be required. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
