In this role, you will partner with Sales, Design, and Manufacturing to validate feasibility, update ERP estimating data, and identify opportunities to optimize costs while meeting client budgets and project timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in cost estimating within printing, packaging, or manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn ERP/estimating software.
• Mathematical rigor with ability to apply formulas to real production scenarios.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

• Analyze incoming project specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements for diverse printing and packaging jobs.
• Develop precise cost estimates by evaluating stock, run times, and production variables to ensure competitive market pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Design, and Manufacturing teams to assess project feasibility and identify potential production challenges early.
• Maintain and update estimating data within ERP systems to ensure consistency across all project documentation.
• Source pricing for non-standard materials and provide cost-effective alternatives to meet client budget targets.
• Communicate technical requirements and project instructions cleart to internal departments and external vendors.
• Review preliminary estimates for accuracy, adjusting variables such as make-ready time and press runs to optimize profitability.

• Understanding of production planning, inventory control, and scheduling workflows.
• Degree in Business, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
