Job summary

Dahl Consulting is seeking a Peripheral Operator in Norcross, GA for a 6-month contract to support production, print, mail processing, and data center activities. You will operate peripheral equipment and monitor workflows to ensure timely, accurate business communications.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to develop technical operations skills in a production environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to learn and operate computer peripheral hardware and production equipment.
Basic computer skills and comfort with automated systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Basic math skills for inventory tracking, production counts, and product control activities.
Strong verbal communication and ability to work with team members.

Responsibilities

Operate peripheral equipment such as printers, inserters, finishing equipment, and mail-processing machinery.
Monitor production workflows and complete tasks following procedures and schedules.
Troubleshoot and clear jams; perform operator-level maintenance.
Prepare production control reports and maintain inventory records.
Use systems to queue work, update processing information, and respond to messages.
Complete manual document assembly, packaging, sorting, and postage tasks as required.
Identify issues and escalate appropriately; collaborate to meet deadlines.
