Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator for the Printing Department on the overnight shift to support production, inspection, and packaging across the facility. Emphasizes safety, quality, and perfect attendance with built-in overtime and growth opportunities.

Your role includes operating equipment safely, inspecting products, recording process measurements, and maintaining clean, efficient production runs in a high-output environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
  • Ability to calculate parts requirements.
  • Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet.
  • Properly complete all required paperwork.
  • Read through process manuals and record measurements.
  • Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
  • Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
  • Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
  • Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely.
  • Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
  • Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
  • High school diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 8 consecutive hours.
  • Ability to read, write and record in quality and production records.
  • Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes and product to inspect and pack
  • Ability to work with and around heavy machinery and equipment
  • Minimal lifting capabilities of 35 lbs.

Starting Pay: $18.00/Hr. (PLUS $2.00/Hr Shift Differential)
Job Type: Full-time
Shifts Available
Third Shift - 8 Hour Night Shift Monday-Friday 11:00PM to 7:30AM (PLUS $2.00/Hr Shift Differential)
Some weekend overtime may be required
