Milly is seeking a talented Print Designer to join our creative team in New York. The role focuses on producing production-ready print and pattern artwork, with a strong eye for color and trends.

You will collaborate across design and production, refine layouts, conduct market research, and maintain an organized digital art library while supporting CAD work as needed.

Milly is seeking a talented Print Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of color, trend awareness, and the ability to develop production-ready, fashion-forward artwork.

Responsibilities:

• Create and develop original, full-scale print and pattern artwork that is production-ready and trend-right.
• Collaborate with the design team and overseas offices to maintain a cohesive art vision and consistent workflow.
• Design or refine complex layouts and artwork based on direction from the Senior Designer or Head of Design.
• Conduct trend and market research through online resources, trade shows, and competitive shopping.
• Review and troubleshoot design layouts to ensure compatibility with overall design concepts and production standards.
• Work with the Production team to resolve technical issues with existing artwork.
• Participate in design and manufacturing reviews to evaluate artwork and provide recommendations.
• Make revisions and updates to artwork as requested by senior team members.
• Provide alternative design concepts to meet customer needs.
• Create and maintain an organized digital art library for future reference.
• Support the team with CAD drawings and other design tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in print design, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proven ability to create production-ready artwork, including repeats, color separations, and understanding of fabric and factory limitations.
• Excellent color and print sensibility with a keen eye for fashion detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and time zones.

Salary $85,000 - $110,000 based on experience.
