Job summary

RTX is an aerospace and defense leader seeking a remote Senior Procurement Specialist to lead supplier negotiations, enforce FAR/DFARS/ITAR compliance, and optimize sourcing for critical programs. What You Will Do:

• Lead supplier negotiations on price, schedule, and terms & conditions.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, company terms, and export/import regulations.
• Review Statements of Work (SOWs) and develop Proprietary Information Agreements (PIAs) and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
• Manage proposal and quotation activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance packages.
• Identify, qualify, and conduct due diligence on suppliers, seeking alternate sources as needed.
• Conduct cost, price, and best-value analyses to support sourcing decisions.
• Oversee post-award supplier performance in alignment with business unit directives.
• Drive supplier engagement to meet critical program milestones.
• Balance strategic planning with daily tactical execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Export/Import (EXIM), Legal, and senior leadership.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• experience with and knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) procurement/subcontract compliance, including Public Laws, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Qualifications We Prefer:

• experience with SAP procurement software tools, such as PRISM and APEX.
• 3 years of experience in purchase order management, including documentation, contract negotiation, and supplier engagement.
• Experience in supplier negotiations, including price, schedules, and terms & conditions, with the ability to perform and comprehend price analyses and source selection/justification.
• Experience with RTX supply chain systems and SAP PRISM purchasing tools.
• Experience engaging senior management, cross-functional teams, and program leaders on key business matters.
• Ability to make timely decisions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions, with the ability to coach others in developing negotiation skills.
