Job description

Lokking a talented and well‑rounded Software Developer to design, build, test, install and maintain software systems. The ideal candidate must have exceptional skills in all phases of software development and support.

Title: Principal Software Engineer

Applicant must have a current TS/SCI with FS Poly, NSA.

At least 15 years of software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.

Ability to communicate directions and provide guidance to junior programmers/analysts.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is highly desired and will be considered equivalent to four years of experience. A Master’s Degree in a technical field will be considered equivalent to an additional two years of experience.

Required Professional Experience

At least eight years developing software using Java. At least six years of this experience must have been obtained in the last eight years.
At least six years of experience developing for Windows (2000, 2003, XP, Vista), Unix or Linux (Redhat 3–5). At least two years of this experience must have been obtained within the last four years.
Experience with JavaScript, Flex, JSP, HTML, CSS, SpringMVC or equivalents for UI development, and Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Servlets or equivalents for enterprise Java development.
Experience developing at least one Object‑Oriented System (OOS).
Extensive experience in planning and accomplishing goals and complex tasks, providing consultation on complex projects as a top‑level contributor or specialist.
Firm grasp of modern computer programming with a minimum of six years experience in application software development and testing for complex systems.
Experience developing solutions integrating and extending COTS products.
Demonstrated technical writing skills; generated at least five documents in support of a software development project.
Experience designing and developing applications that contain a user‑facing view component.
