Amazon is seeking a GenAI-focused architect and advisor to help customers build GenAI-powered applications using AWS Bedrock and related services.

You will lead architectural blueprints, develop reference architectures, and contribute to public thought leadership while balancing cost, security, and trustworthy AI considerations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, data & analytics).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training and publications.

Are you passionate about Generative AI? In this role, you will help our customers build and deploy GenAI enabled applications using Amazon Bedrock and help enterprise customers leverage these models to power end applications. You will engage with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing GenAI along with AWS Services.

The Generative AI team guides AWS customers on building enterprise-grade GenAI systems. This role will support development of an architectural blueprint that our customers can use to build their own enterprise-wide Generative AI platforms, which will help them balance democratization of access to GenAI and speed of innovation with following best practices around trustworthy AI, cost efficiency, security, etc. The role will partner with others on the team to develop comprehensive guidance for using Amazon Bedrock by AWS GenAI customers. The deliverables include: contributions to architectural blueprints, whitepapers, code samples and solutions, thought leadership in the form of public writing and speaking, as well as internal enablement. The role has a global remit.

Key job responsibilities

• Customer Advisor – Implement, and deploy state of the art machine learning algorithms under Gen AI. You will build prototypes, PoCs, and explore new solutions. You will interact closely with our customers and with the academic community.
• Thought Leadership – Evangelize AWS GenAI services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent, etc.
• Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and the AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and providing guidance on their customer engagements.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of ML related subject matter experts worldwide. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services GenAI solutions into customer architectures.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
• Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
• Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
• Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
