Amazon in Seattle is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to enhance the Prime Video platform. Responsibilities include driving strategy and aligning project objectives while collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams.

Strong knowledge of current and emerging AI technologies and technology-driven workflows, with the ability to evaluate new capabilities, identify opportunities for innovation, and guide cross-functional teams through responsible technology adoption and integration.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to both traditional systems and automation deployments, including model drift, data quality, and ethical considerations, communicating regularly with stakeholders on project status and issues.
Demonstrate deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing, with familiarity in modern machine learning technologies and their practical applications.
Partner closely with engineering, product, and business leaders to align initiatives with high-level objectives and achieve measurable improvements in efficiency or customer experience.
Communicate ideas effectively to a wide range of audiences, foster constructive dialogue, and lead the resolution of contentious technical issues.
Driving clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and defining strategy where none exists.
Advising Leadership/stakeholders on trade-offs, risks, and strategic direction.
Creating and optimizing cross-org structures and mechanisms that enable teams to move faster.
Serving as the escalation point for critical technical decisions spanning multiple organizations.
Force multiplying by building frameworks, mechanisms, and best practices that scale beyond your direct programs.
Thinking big and working with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define vision, strategy, and requirements that span organizational boundaries.
The core TPM team is responsible for running large initiatives across Prime Video to improve existing or build brand new experiences to help Amazon customers discover great content and get personalized recommendations on our apps on a variety of surfaces (e.g. Web, iOS/Android, FireTV, Living Room devices).
10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
10+ years of technical product or program management experience
10+ years of software development experience
Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience managing programs across multiple organizations, building cross-org mechanisms, and driving alignment at the executive level.
Experience in the streaming, entertainment, or media industry, with knowledge of how marketing content is produced and distributed across global markets
Experience driving adoption of AI-native solutions across marketing organizations, enhancing existing workflows with automated, outcome-based approaches
Experience partnering with science and ML teams on model development, evaluation, and integration into production systems at scale
Experience designing and evaluating system-level technical architecture at scale

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
