Job summary

TCS is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to join our team supporting the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program in Huntsville, AL. The role involves designing, developing, and executing system-level test plans and procedures to advance the GMD system.

Qualified candidates will have 5 years with a Bachelor's degree (3 years with a Master's), strong C++/Java skills, Python scripting, GUI testing experience, and familiarity with GitLab/Bitbucket.

Qualifications

• 5 years with Bachelors in Science; 3 years with Masters.
• Design, develop, implement, and execute test plans, integration plans, and procedures to complete system-level integration testing.
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete system-level integration testing.
• Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements.
• Experience in C++ and Java development
• Experience using Python and other scripting languages
• Experience using Eggplant or other GUI based toolset
• Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket
• Familiar with automated software requirements testing and analysis
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs.
• Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start.

Job Description

TCS is searching for a Principal Test Engineer to join our strong team of Engineers supporting our Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) customer in Huntsville, AL. The GMD program is a portion of the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) system to protect the US and our allies from ballistic missile attacks. The selected candidate will use modern tools to further the development and sustainment of the GMD system.

Basic Qualifications
