Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to serve as a global technical authority who drives design excellence, technical execution, and engineering capability across complex integrated circuit development. This role spans the full lifecycle from specification and customer engagement through design, verification, silicon validation, and production readiness. The candidate combines deep technical expertise with the ability to challenge the status quo, drive execution improvements, and elevate organizational performance through strong collaboration across development teams.

  • Provide global technical leadership, setting engineering direction and driving complex system and design decisions across multiple programs.
  • Lead end-to-end design execution, owning critical blocks from requirements definition through silicon validation and production readiness.
  • Balance technical trade-offs by translating requirements into architectures optimized for performance, power, area, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Ensure engineering excellence through technical reviews, design oversight, adherence to best practices, and high-quality documentation.
  • Drive verification, test, and validation strategies, ensuring alignment between simulation results, silicon behavior, and system-level performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, aligning design, verification, test, validation, quality, reliability, and applications engineering worldwide.
  • Advance methodologies, automation, and AI adoption, improving engineering efficiency, traceability, documentation, and development workflows.
  • Mentor engineers and influence organizational strategy, strengthening technical capability, improving engineering practices, and contributing to roadmap direction and industry best practices.
Qualifications
  • 12-15+ years of analog and/or mixed-signal IC design experience, including technical leadership of complex semiconductor products and system developments.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, with advanced qualifications preferred.
  • Strong expertise across the full product lifecycle, including system architecture, design, verification, validation, DFT, test, and production readiness.
  • Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional global teams, collaborate in multicultural environments, and deliver high-quality results under demanding schedules.
