Job summary

AxiaMetrics is seeking an experienced Principal Technical Consultant to drive Oracle-based enterprise solutions for public sector clients. You will design and implement technical architectures, lead data migration projects, and deliver robust integrations using Oracle technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience implementing technical solutions for enterprise software systems.
• Direct experience utilising and/or implementing OPAL solutions.
• Strong experience with system integrations, BPM, data migration, and reporting.
• Experience with Oracle DB and MS SQL Server (≥1 year each).
• 2+ years’ experience working with public sector organisations.
• Proficiency developing and consuming RESTful web services.
• Experience planning data migration and conversions.
• 5–7 years’ relevant industry experience including consulting.
• Experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.

Principal Technical Consultant - OPAL (Oracle Permitting and Licensing)

We are looking for an experienced Principal Technical Consultant to join a growing team delivering Oracle solutions to public sector organisations. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex digital transformation programmes, designing and implementing technical solutions that support critical public services.

You’ll play a key role in delivering Oracle-based enterprise solutions, working across system integrations, data migrations, reporting and technical configuration. Collaborating with functional consultants, project teams and client stakeholders, you’ll help deliver secure, scalable and high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern Oracle technologies while contributing to innovative projects in a collaborative and supportive consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You are an experienced technical consultant with a strong Oracle background and a passion for delivering enterprise solutions within the public sector. You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and working closely with public sector clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Direct experience utilising and/or implementing OPAL (Oracle Permitting and Licensing) solutions
• Minimum 4 years’ experience implementing technical solutions for enterprise software systems.
• Strong experience with: System integrations, Business process automation, Data conversion and migration, Reporting solutions
• Experience with both Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server (minimum one year with each).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with public sector organisations.
• Experience developing reports using Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Proficiency developing and consuming RESTful web services.
• Experience analysing, designing and delivering system integrations.
• Experience planning and executing data migration and conversion activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• 5–7 years’ relevant industry experience, including consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
• Experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
• Knowledge of Oracle implementation methodologies and technical best practices.
• Experience working within secure, enterprise-scale cloud environments.
