Job summary

Nyla Technology Solutions seeks a security-focused Software Engineer to lead the implementation of robust identity, access control, and permission mechanisms across critical HPC resources. The role requires operating within a security-cleared environment in the United States, with compensation aligned to market for TS/SCI level roles.

ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a security-focused Software Engineer to lead the implementation of robust identity, access control, and permission mechanisms across critical High-Performance Computing (HPC) system resources. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of security engineering, IAM architecture, and HPC infrastructure—ensuring enterprise system resources remain fully compliant with Agency security policies and industry standards. You will design and deploy Role-Based and Attribute-Based Access Control (RBAC/ABAC) systems, build seamless SSO integrations, automate secrets management, and drive continuous deployment using Ansible and GitLab CI. The annual base salary range for this role is $199,000-$235,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
