Job summary

Mpowering People is seeking a Principal System Architect to design and integrate real-time automotive systems-on-chip with a focus on high-performance computing and ADAS. You will guide architecture decisions, collaborate across hardware/software teams, and ensure safety and security compliance.

You will lead efforts in system hardware/software architecture, high-speed communications, and sensor integration, interfacing with customers and suppliers to deliver next-generation fail-operational

Qualifications

• Experience designing real-time automotive systems on high-performance SoCs.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 safety/security requirements.
• Proficient in DFMEA and FTA techniques for system safety and reliability.
• Ability to coordinate across hardware, software, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate complex real-time automotive systems on SoCs.
• Lead architecture choices to optimize performance and cost.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration.

Job description

The Principal System Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating complex real-time automotive systems focusing on high-performance computing systems-on chip.

Key Responsibilities:

• Expert in System hardware and software architecture (more hardware focused) focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip (SoC).
• Expert in high-speed communication pipelines like Multi-Gig Ethernet, PCIe, LPDDR4/5.
• Experts in sensor selection & system Integration architecture for ADAS systems.
• Proficient in System (Hardware, Software) documentation architecture and requirements.
• Expert in Architecture optimization to apply cost-effective solutions with improved performance design.
• Architecture Experience in implementing safety and security mechanisms to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
• Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Fault Tree (FTA) techniques for systems and components.
• In-depth understanding of vehicle feature interactions, including Automated Driving, Infotainment, and Mechatronic Control Systems.
• Expertise in integrating, troubleshooting, and analysing vehicle control sub-systems to deliver next-generation fail-operational systems.
• Collaborating with hardware, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration into the overall product.
• Expert in communication and negotiation with customers and suppliers.
