Micron Technology is seeking a Principal SSD Systems Design Engineer based in Longmont, Colorado. In this role, you will lead innovation in SSD technology and define system-level design for new products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.

As a Principal SSD Systems Design Engineer within Micron’s Solid State Drive (SSD) Product Development Team (PDT), you will serve as a technical leader and strategic influencer across global teams. Using your extensive experience, you will drive SSD innovation from concept through high-volume manufacturing, developing architecture, guiding multi-functional execution, and mentoring engineering talent. This role requires deep technical authority, strong leadership, and the ability to influence product direction at organizational scale, leveraging AI.
US base salary range: $175,000.00 - $297,000.00 per year.
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
