Hybrid role – 3 days onsite / up to 2 days per week WFH eligible.

Responsibilities: Architecting and designing software solutions to support and enhance retail industry products, gathering customer and internal requirements, and designing solutions that meet these requirements.

Qualifications

Requires: No degree and 7 years of progressively more responsible software development experience in an object‑oriented environment in the retail payment industry. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of software development experience in an object‑oriented environment in the retail payment industry.

With either combination of education and experience, must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing Point of Sale integration solutions
• Working with remote teams
• Developing with technologies including .NET framework & Linux
• Developing in one of the following: C++, C#, or Java
• Writing formal specifications using software design methodologies
• Writing specifications for REST API & serial protocols
• Writing data exchange specifications to third‑party systems

Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
